No farm dinners are scheduled for 2017.
At our farm dinners, guests have the rare opportunity to sit down at the table with the farmers who grew the food and the chef who prepared it, all within sight of the fields where it was harvested. Local musicians perform as guests arrive and enjoy the view and appetizers. The evening begins with a brief tour of the farm, providing an opportunity to learn about the animals, plants, and people behind the meal. Following the tour, everyone gathers at the table to share in food and fellowship. Local chefs prepare the meal, paired with their selection of wines. As the sun sets and seconds (or thirds) are served, the evening will wind down with desserts and coffee.
Our farm dinners have featured Chef David Bancroft of Acre in Auburn, Alabama and Chef Rob McDaniel of SpringHouse in Alex City, Alabama. We’re proud to work with these talented and creative folks, who prepare a full meal sourcing meats and vegetables entirely from our farm (and occasionally their own gardens).
Guests are asked to wear comfortable shoes as the event is outside, and those interested in a brief farm tour will walk a short distance. No pets, please. Children are welcome, but each seat requires a ticket.
